Juniper Lodge is a traditional sandstone Victorian house situated in the Crown area of Inverness. This quiet, residential district is only a few minutes walk from the castle, river, city centre, shops, restaurants, bus station and train station.

Our 2 large double bedrooms and 1 large twin bedroom have recently been fully refurbished to a high standard.
All are tastefully decorated throughout and retain their original fireplaces.
All rooms have modern ensuite shower facilities with complimentary toiletries, colour TV, hairdryer and tea / coffee hospitality tray.

Breakfast is served in our spacious dining room overlooking our front garden.
Guests can choose from either a traditional cooked breakfast or our healthy option (selected the night before).

Booking Information
A deposit of the first night's accommodation payable by cheque is requested to secure any reservation. In the event of cancellation within 2 weeks of arrival the deposit is non-refundable. We strongly recommend that adequate insurance cover is taken out to avoid losing your deposit.
On the day of your arrival, check-in time should be no earlier than 3pm unless by arrangement under special circumstances (e.g. weddings, functions etc.).

Inverness

Inverness city is ideally situated for day trips around the Highlands. Within a short distance you can visit Cawdor Castle (pictured here), Brodie Castle, Culloden Battlefield, Fort George and the prehistoric Clava Cairns.
The popular seaside resort of Nairn with beautiful sandy beaches is only 17 miles from Inverness.
To the north of Inverness, take a trip to the historic towns of Cromarty, Strathpeffer and Beauly with nearby Glen Ord Distillery and Moniack Wineries.

Further afield, you could visit Dunrobin Castle, Dornoch, Ullapool or the Isle of Skye in a day's drive. For those without a car, guided minibus day trips run from Inverness city centre to a variety of attractions in the Highlands.

Boat trips operate from Inverness, Nairn, Cromarty and Avoch. Take a cruise on Loch Ness (pictured left) to see the ruins of Urquhart Castle or see the dolphins in Moray Firth.

For outdoor enthusiasts there are plenty of opportunities for golf, cycling, walking, mountaineering, watersports, etc.

A variety of events take place throughout the year in Inverness and the surrounding area including Highland Games, music festivals, clan gatherings, etc.
